Refund Policy

The refund policy helps our customers to be vigilant when making a purchase decision and also to know how they can claim for a refund. When a purchase is being made, the following Terms and Conditions must have been taken into consideration, which are as follows:

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. What are the responsibilities of student and guardian?

It is the responsibility of student and guardian to ensure that the student pitches to sessions on time at the correct locations.

LATE-COMING

2. What happens when the student comes late?

If the student is running late, they are to communicate to the office through their Guardian, 2 hours before sessions, or they will be marked late, and the reminder of the sessions covered as soon as they arrive.

RE-SCHEDULES

3. How to communicate rescheduling?

All desired reschedules are to be communicated by guardian/parent at least a day in advance;failure to do so will result in a marking absent of student by tutor, and lesson will be paid for.

GOOD-CANCELLATIONS

4. What happens when cancellation is reported on time?

In the case of of cancellation sessions reported on time;Lion Tutoring will refund only 80% of refund amount.

DISCOUNTS

5. When do a customer deserves a discount?

Sibling Discount - Each additional family member within same household will receive a 10% discount.

Bulk Sessions Discount - A 10% discount will be awarded when payment is made for 3 months and above, at once.

SERVICES-SOLD

6. What is Lion Tutoring selling?

Lion Tutoring sells services not products, therefore all services are sold “as is”. Each client assumes the responsibility for their purchase. You may contact us within 24hours from the purchase date if you wish to exchange your purchase for a service of equal or lesser value. If you choose to exchange you purchase for a service of lesser value, there will be no refund for the difference in price.

DEBITS

7. How will the refund be debited?

Each refund will be debited to client’s account which the initial payment was made from.

TUTORING-SESSIONS

8. What if tutoring sessions fail to commence due to service provider’s limitations?

Should the tutoring sessions fail to commence due to service provider’s limitations, such as preferred tutor unavailability, the service provider shall make 100% refund, on request of client.

JOB-HALF-DONE

9. What if service provider has done 50% of the job?

Should the client fail to complete the tutoring sessions below 50% completion, the service provider shall refund 30% of the fees paid in advance.

REFUND-PERIOD

10. How long will it take for the customer get the refund?

Every refund will be returned or issued to the customer after 30 working days.

SERVICE-CANCELLATION

11. When is cancelation allowed?

No cancellation will be allowed beyond 50% completion of tutoring sessions; there shall be no refund in this case.

CLIENT-NEGLIGENCE

12. What if is the client's negligence and miscommunication?

No refund will be awarded to the client due to their own negligence and miscommunication.

CHANGING-THE-TUTOR

13. When to change the tutor?

If you are not entirely satisfied with the tutor you have been attached to, kindly inform our office by the second lesson. A replacement tutor will be sent. Client has only one opportunity to ask for change in tutors per subject.

REFUND-PENALTY

14. What are the penalties that come with a refund?

Every refund will be implemented with a 10% penalty, this so because online transactions come at a commission that are charged by the bank. Take note that Lion Tutoring cannot claim a refund from the bank when commission has been charged.

15. What happens if the customer pays twice by mistake?
